What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a gentle form of healing done by applying alternating pressure to reflex points on hands, feet or ears which correspond to the organs of the body.

Any soreness found can be an indication that the organ 'reflected' by that particular point is not functioning fully and continued stimulation for a short time can help produce improvement.

This work is done in a holistic way, that is, by working he whole of both feet or hands so that the entire body is stimulated.

Sometime when working on the feet there can be an immediate and dramatic change and at other times not, but overall there may be just a general feeling of well-being at all levels.

In short, reflexology feels like a very long and relaxing foot massage, but with healing benefits.

Reflexology naturally stimulates the body to allow a self healing process and can help with many ailments. Incluing: Backache, frozen shoulder, stress, anxiety, sleeplessness, painfull joints, headaches, sinus problems, arthiritis, homonal imbalance, PMS, post natal depression and many more.
